Part 3 of our crazy Halloween week!

So I cheated a little and changed around a few dates for easier posting. Keep scrolling down and you'll find four new posts. And hey, let me know if you're reading by dropping a comment!

What a busy day already (and we haven't even trick or treated yet!)

Today at school we got to paint pumpkins and eat cupcakes! Griffin really seems to enjoy painting but I think it may have something to do with the mess it creates.

Come to think of it, the same thing could be said about cupcakes!

After school we rushed downtown to get our pictures taken in costume by Studio S and visit with our friends. We had a hayride and games but we were too busy to take any pictures of it.

Shew, is Halloween over yet?! I'm exhausted! ;)

Part 2!

On Thursday we had our traditional pumpkin carving party at Nanny's. Griffin "helped" by getting the pumpkin seeds out and overseeing the carving. We couldn't have done it without him!

Helping Nanny with her witch.

Telling Mama where to carve for the pirate ship with Daddy overseeing as well.

The finished product!

Hopefully the ship will last through the week so we can have it at Griffin's birthday party!

Happy Halloween from the Blounts (even Maddy!)

part 1 (of 3!) of our busy week!

On Wednesday we met several of our friends for the Kingsland First United Methodist Church's Fall Festival. Kate and Gabe were with us too but I didn't get any pictures!

♥ The lovebirds, these two are so sweet! ♥

"Little" Emma and Berry Brycie!

Griffin's very favorite: the bean bag toss!

Fall is most definitely upon us with St. Mary's Annual Hay Days. Costumed and lathered in cactus juice all of us got together for the Scarecrow Stroll.

Griffin can't understand why he can't wear his costume ALL THE TIME. When he gets up in the morning "Can I put it on?" When he gets out of the bath, "Please?" After his nap, "What about now?!" This kid is nothing if not persistent!

Some of our favorite scarecrows...

:)

Griffin wanted his face painted something fierce. I was unsure but he begged to get it and to his credit it only took 5 minutes for him to rub it off instead of 2! It was worth it, he was so proud.

The little ones had a good time people watching and getting rare bits of candy!

What a sweet little monkey.

Practicing for the real thing:

We don't know what to do with these two sometimes! Look at those faces, if they don't scream "MISCHEVIOUS!" I don't know what does.

More candy!!

The kids had such a fun time but with the bugs getting worse and sky turning dark it was time to head home. We are so thankful to have you guys as friends and partners in crime.

Happy Hay Days!

Fall Festival Time!

Fall is one of my very favorite times of the year. The weather turns cool, yummy pumpkin dishes and best of all--the start of the holiday season! Bright Beginnings Morning School had their Fall Festival this afternoon and the gang got together for it.

The epitome of Kate & Griffin: Always in motion!

Making cookies!

It got a little crazy at the duck pond. I could have been the combination of all the sugar and it getting late. At one point Baby Madeline was INSIDE the pool!

I think they'd go all night if we let them...

Happy Fall y'all!
