A Christmas Playdate

Today was the playgroup's Christmas playdate!! We had a Santa visit, a delicious lunch, yummy dessert, and a book exchange! There's A LOT of pictures ahead so I'm not going to caption most of them. A picture speaks a thousand words, right? :)

The reason we started this crazy group in the first place, our precious babies!

Our lovely host Ashley, thanks so much for letting us tear your house up!

Santa came right in and sat down to read a book to the kids. I highly recommend this as it really does let the kids feel so much more comfortable with him.

I got a picture of every one of the kids with Santa except Ava! Sorry Ash!

Lunchtime! There was a big kids table and a little kids line up.

Mrs. Deanna brought along goodies to make candy Christmas trees.

And finally, the whole group together!

I'm so thankful for you ladies and your children. Our days are much brighter and more fun with you in our lives. Merry Christmas!

We're baaaack!

I want to apologize for being so neglectful of the blog, things have just been busybusybusy! There was Labor Day weekend and the parade which was well chronicled by Walker and Kate's moms. (Thanks ladies!), Aunt Erica left for Virginia (WE MISS YOU!), and Classic Cleaners had it's grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday. When we get the pictures from the Chamber of Commerce I will make a post about the day. Until then tune in to TV Camden to see me give a brief interview about Camden County's Best Cleaners!
Today we had a really fun day with many of our friends. There was so much activity going on that I didn't get many pictures of the kids playing together but I tried to go around and snap everyone. Playtime Toddler sure does help to start off the week well.

Thanks for the fun Madeline, Bryce, Ava, Walker, Kate & Gabe! We missed you Emma!!

With school starting tomorrow we made sure to have a jam-packed, fun-filled day. Our first stop was Playtime Toddler where the four kids actually played all together. Gabe can no longer be called "Baby Gabe" as he plays with the big kids now! Griffin seems to have a good time making him laugh. It warms my heart how sweet he can be around him (and also gives me hope that he'll be like that with a sibling one day.)

We made a pit stop at our favorite, Chick-fil-A and played a little there but all the kids wanted to head back to "Pwaytime Toddwer" as Griffin calls it, so off we went for some more fun.

Later on that day and after a much needed haircut, Mimi called us over for dinner. After some deewicious spaghetti Griffin and "Cousin" (Grayson) got to do Griffin's Very Favorite Thing, go play on the golf course! Baby Georgia hung out and watched. She'll be swinging and putting before we know it.
Then it was time to go home, get a quick bath and head to bed for a (hopefully) restful night.

Playdate with Emma!

Griffin's friend Emma came over to play today and boy was it nice to have another girl in the house! Griffin is a pretty rough and tumble boy but there's something about Emma that makes him more gentle around her. It's quite sweet.

Since Classic Cleaners was getting some concrete work done we thought it would be neat to put Griffin's handprints in the cement. I didn't get a great picture of the finished product but I couldn't not put it up! (Click to enlarge.)
